
Zhong Weihe: :Professor Zhong Weihe is a leading figure in the fields of interpreting and translation studies, language service studies, and foreign language education. He is celebrated as a pioneer and advocate for professional education in translation and interpreting, having played a key role in establishing degree programs such as the Bachelor of Translation and Interpreting (BTI), Master of Translation and Interpreting (MTI), and Doctor of Translation and Interpreting (DTI).
He currently serves as the Chair of the Board and Rector of Macau Millennium College, as well as the Chancellor of Nanbo Education Group. From May 2017 to October 2023, Professor Zhong Weihe served as Co-President of Kingold Group and President of Kingold Academy. Before his tenure at Kingold Group, Professor Zhong Weihe dedicated 25 years to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), including 7 years as President. Before assuming the presidency, he held several key roles, such as Deputy Director of the Translation Department in the Faculty of English Language and Culture, Vice Dean of the Faculty of English Language and Culture, Founding Dean of the School of Interpreting and Translation Studies, and Vice President of GDUFS.
As an author of over 100 books and research papers, Professor Zhong Weihe remains a prolific academic and Ph.D. supervisor. His ongoing research and teaching focus on interpreting and translation studies, foreign language education, and language service studies. Professor Zhong Weihe has served on numerous national and provincial advisory boards, making significant contributions to the advancement of foreign language education and professional translation and interpreting education in higher education. His extensive work has earned him numerous accolades and recognitions, including prestigious awards and international honorary titles.
His international impact is further highlighted by honorary recognitions such as Honorary Fellow of the University of Warwick, and Doctor of Letters from the University of Central Lancashire, the University of Westminster, and the University of Coventry, acknowledging his vast contributions to the field.

Dr. Wang Lifei, Doctoral Supervisor and recipient of the government’s special allowance, currently serves as Distinguished Professor and Vice Rector of Macau Millennium College, Dean of the Institute of International Language Services Studies, Chair of the Board of the Macao International Language Service Society, Advisor to the China Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Enterprises Association, and Chair of the Committee on International Business and Language Services. His primary research areas include language education, language services, and economic discourse. Dr. Wang has published 120 papers in SSCI and CSSCI journals, including Discourse Studies, Foreign Language Teaching and Research, and Applied Linguistics, and is the author of monographs such as Report on The Development of Language Services in China, New Developments in Economic Discourse, and Studies on Language Service Industry, and the translator of Global Language Services Market Report. He has led multiple projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation, as well as major provincial and ministerial-level initiatives, including state-level first-class virtual simulation experimental courses. He has twice received provincial awards for outstanding teaching and excellence in philosophy and social science research.

Huang Hua: Dr. Huang currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Assistant Rector of MMC. In addition, she is a faculty member at the Guangdong University of Science and Technology and serves as a peer reviewer for research projects under the Ministry of Education and the Fujian Provincial Social Science Planning Project at Xiamen University. With over a decade of experience in corporate leadership and seven years of teaching in higher education, Dr Huang has significantly contributed to the development of online courses on the MOOC platform, as well as Guangdong Quality Courses. She has led or joined numerous research projects sponsored by provincial governments and central government ministries in China and the Macao Foundation. Her academic contributions include several publications in top-tier and SCI-indexed journals.
