On 11 July, the inauguration ceremony for the members of the 4th leadership team of the Macao Association for Higher Education Development was grandly held at the University of Macau. Mr Kong Chi Meng, Director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau of Macao, presided over the oath-taking. Rector Zhong Weihe of Macau Millennium College (“MMC”) was sworn in as the new Chair of the Board of Supervisors, alongside President Song Yonghua and Chair of the Board of Directors Li Xingwei, leading all members of the Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors to take their oaths, with a commitment to deepen higher education collaboration in Macao and promote academic innovation and talent cultivation. Mr Cai Zhiming, Vice Rector of MMC, was sworn in as the Vice President of the Association, and Mr Wang Xin, Dean of the Centre for Continuing Education, and Executive Dean of the School of Business, was sworn in as a supervisor of the Association on the same day.

MMC will faithfully fulfil its responsibilities, actively collaborate with the Macao Association for Higher Education Development, and work hand-in-hand with other directors and supervisors to promote the steady development of higher education in Macao. MMC will fully leverage its interdisciplinary strengths in fields such as digital technology, humanities, and language services to continuously cultivate high-quality, versatile talents with global vision and practical abilities, contributing wisdom and strength to the development of a modern and internationalised higher education system in Macao.
