With its international perspective and the integration of Eastern and Western cultural influences, MMC employs the Digital+ approach. Focusing on four key academic domains—Digital Innovation, Digital Economy, Digital Society and Digital Humanities, we have developed a hub-based academic structure and follow a “Hub-Domain-Curriculum” model for academic growth. We strive to foster multidisciplinary integration, cultivate talent for digital intelligence, drive scientific research and innovation, promote global exchange and collaboration, develop world-class faculty, build a future-focused digital campus and strengthen MMC as a distinctive brand. Additionally, MMC is dedicated to establishing three main hubs: The gathering and cultivation of talent for digital intelligence, research and development in digital technology as well as the exchange of Eastern and Western cultures. MMC emphasises self-directed and lifelong learning, creativity and critical thinking, the exploration of new frontiers and the embrace of innovation. Our mission is to nurture globally aware digital talent with Eastern and Western cultural literacy and the competitive edge needed for success in digital era.

MMC has assembled a superb teaching faculty with extensive experience, outstanding research capabilities and exceptional cross-cultural communication skills, as well as an experienced administration team with excellent management capabilities. More than 1,300 graduates have gone forth to benefit the growth of Macao’s socioeconomic standing. This track record is particularly significant in regard to professionalisation and modernisation in the tourism and hospitality sector of Macao.

Accordingly, MMC will uphold the core values of “integrating the Eastern and Western cultures, focusing on innovation, having a global vision and pursuing excellence”, so as to advocate for academic freedom, promote teamwork, and train outstanding talent with innovative thinking, global vision and digital intelligence.
