Purpose of display: Our team is dedicated to the research and development of advanced marine miniature intelligent buoys. This buoy project actively responds to the national strategy of building China into a strong maritime country and aligns with the clear direction regarding the vigorous development of new monitoring technologies for ocean buoys in the State Council’s 14th Five-Year Plan. The buoy we have designed is capable of submerging and maintaining a set depth. It can also collect a wide range of oceanographic data, as well as attitude data, including acceleration along the X, Y and Z axes and the buoy’s roll, pitch and yaw angles. The buoy transmits collected marine data to a host computer via 4G communication. The collected data can be used to monitor future ocean conditions. As an important technical means for acquiring marine information, the buoy plays a vital role in marine development.
Display content: The internal volume adjustment mechanism is the core component of the deployable miniature buoy. The mechanism consists of support rods, support plates, a motor, sliding sleeves, a flange nut, a screw and a coupling. The motor is fixed to a support plate, and its rotating shaft is connected to the screw. The screw engages with the flange nut, which is fixed to another support plate. As the motor rotates, relative linear movement occurs between the screw and the flange nut. The three support rods between the two upper support plates then slide through the sliding sleeves, thereby changing the volume of the buoy. This changes the buoyancy acting on the buoy and enables vertical movement underwater.
Dimensions: Cylindrical structure, 40 cm in height and 12.5 cm in outer diameter
